The Wascosa 45’ Sgmmns container flat wagon is a particularly lightweight, quiet, and high-performance solution for intermodal rail freight. With a tare weight of just 16.5 tonnes and high load capacity, it enables maximum payloads alongside high energy and cost efficiency. The wagon is fitted with modern disc brakes, and boasts low noise emissions as well as a life-cycle-cost-optimized design with quickly replaceable components. Equipped with telematics and thanks to its modular compatibility (flex freight system®), the Sgmmns is ideally suited for transporting intermodal loading units as well as 45’ tank containers. In such a way it can replace traditional tank wagon concepts, meaning that the wagon and the container can be maintained independently of one another.
