Business is conducted in accordance with the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) defined by the United Nations. Investments in innovation, digitalisation, health and safety systems, transparency and IT and carbon accounting tools underpin Wascosa’s business operations.

Environment
Climate change poses the greatest threat to life on earth. Therefore at Wascosa the emphasis is on responsible management and the use of natural resources. Our business operations are based on the principles of the circular economy, recycling, and digitalisation. In own-operated business units Wascosa concentrates on the reduction of energy and water consumption, the implementation of renewable energy sources, the reduction of waste as well as ethical waste disposal.
Social
Acting ethically and working closely with employees and external stakeholders are essential to long-term partnerships and high stakeholder satisfaction. Social cohesion and inclusion guarantee integrity and low turnover rates. Wascosa is committed to improving employee health and safety through the implementation ofstrict policies, assessment processes, certificates, digitalisation, innovation and a constant dialogue with external stakeholders.
